Hello all AERO fans.

The next picture I am sending, is one of a DE HAVILLAND "VAMPIRE T"-55.

It was manufactured in the United Kingdom by the De Havilland Aircraft
Corporation, around 1950. It features a De Havilland Goblin Turbojet
engine, delivering 1587 Kg thrust, with a maximum speed of 866 km/h.

This particular Vampire belongs to the SAAF Museum, its number is 277
and the South African registration number is ZU-DFH.

This picture was taken the day before an Airshow held at the Swartkop
Air Force Base in Pretoria, on the 16th of September 2005.

The camera used was a HP M307 PhotoSmart (3.2 MP, 3x Optical and 5x
Digital zoom), and the picture was rescaled with Graphic Workshop Pro.
