Hello all AERO fans.

The next picture I am sending, is one of a L-39C ALBATROS.

The L-39 Albatros was built in The Czech Republic to serve as a
successor to the earlier L-29 Delfin. The L-39 was designed in
1966, and the first prototype flew in 1968. This particular L-39
was built in 1982 and served in the Ukranian Air Force.

It was imported to the RSA during 2004. The aircraft is in private
ownership. The South African registration number is ZU-TEE.

This picture was taken during an Airshow held at the Swartkop Air Force
Base in Pretoria, on the 17th of September 2005.

The camera used was a HP M307 PhotoSmart (3.2 MP, 3x Optical and 5x
Digital zoom), and the picture was rescaled with Graphic Workshop Pro.
