Greetings all Aero Fans
The next picture I am sending was taken during the last formation flypast
of the S.A.A.F. Avro Shackleton aircraft of 35 Squadron in Cape Town on 23
Nov 1984 before being withdrawn from service. I was the A.E.O. of the lead
a/c (Air Electronic Officer). 1716 was lost in the Sahara desert on a
flight to the U.K. for a series of Airshows.
