Hello,

Here'a little complement about the IC 706.

F5IBH Jean-Luc told me that the TXD of a user is measured on a digi with an audio signal that is sent from the user between key
ing up and transmitting the
packet frame. So independent from the key-up speed of the TRX. And if this
tone is too long, the station is disconnected.

So I think that 9k6 packet could be possible with an IC 706 or other
commercial devices as long as we do not demand the rig to key up too fast.

It's worth a try with a TXD between 30-35 for The IC 706, assuming the frame
is sent entirely with no cuts.
