Six open again today for a few hours. Amateur stations copied but only one
contact made. This contact was lost when he requested a move from the
calling channel. In a marginal contact like this it is best to confirm the
contact by exchanging reports before trying to move frequency particularly
when there is little activity around.Heard VK2 and VK5 working but their
beams would be turned away from the west.
