Hi Bobbinol,
About a third down in the first paragraph you say "North of here...empty
of VHF amateur operators and south is sea to the south pole." and in the
second you say "...it is not lack of stations to work." which on the face
of it is contradictory. Then giving some thought to geography I conclude
that what you say is correct, the greater number of stations are to the
east. Then backing up to where you say propagation runs north and south
contradicts what you said in a bull I just replied to, the best
propagation of all comes from underground considering your Faraday cage
perhaps has no bottom. Well, since those signals you bragged about came
from the north maybe somebody actually DOES live in Asia after all. Well,
maybe they came from the south after all, either polar propagation or
those pesky pirate penguins again. Do they come from Adelie Land (a part
of Antarctica) or did you smuggle them in from Adelaide?
Pardon my confusion but after all, this time you're messing with MY mind
and doing a good job of it too. You just HAD to pick "the morning after"
when it's hard to think straight with last year's brain because Santa
didn't bring me a new one.
Have a happy New Year while I struggle to sort it all out starting with
those darn penguins.
