Hello Sixers,

We build a 6 elements DJ9BV design six meter yagi, like in Dubus V.
The antenna is working fine, but there is a problem with acoustical
resonance, in low speed wind. The elements become a aeolusharp. In the
house this sounds like a passing airplaine. I didn't have this problem
with other yagis. Seems that a full size 6 meter element is a critical
lenght for wind.
I got a tip to fill the elements with some foam like PUR, to muffle the
resonance. Problem is that PUR foam can't be removed, if it not doing the
job right. Another suggestion was the use of rope through the elements.

Do you have experience succesfully muffling acoustical resonance in 6m
antennas, please let me know how you did it?
