                             General information.

   sheer EJ0A was canceled today. Severe storms. Could not get to the is-

   Where to Go ?. Chris G3WOS, writes; You might like to take a look at
   my new 8877-based 6m DXpedition amplifier that I have just completed.

   Guinea, 3X. The DL7DF crew is happy to announce its next DXpedition to
   Guinea, 3X. The call issued will be 3XY7C. Operation will take place
   between October 30, 2002 (evening local time) and November 13, 2002
   (noon local time). They will have several stations on the air on all
   bands from 160 to 6 meter on CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK31. The group will
   also make an attempt at SSTV. The experienced crew includes DJ6TF,
   DJ7UC, DK1BT, DL4WK, DL7UFR, DL7BO and DL7DF. Equipment will consist
   of four (4) transceivers (2 x IC735, 2 x IC706), 2 x KW linears (maybe
   3), a TH3 for 20/15/10, an A3WS (17/12), 2 Titanex V80E Lowband Verti-
   cals, a GP for 40/30, another R5 Multiband GP as well as 5 laptop com-
   puters. The QSL route is either direct or via the bureau to DL7DF. An
   on-line log will be available and updated during the DXpedition. The

   East Malaysia, 9M. Peter, G4MJS, is currently active from the Hillview
   Gardens Resort station 9M6AAC/9M6A in Sabah, East Malaysia. Look for
   activity by 9M6AAC June 5-7 with an emphasis on the WARC bands and 50
   MHz. QSL 9M6AAC and 9M6A via N2OO. (QSP de The Daily DX #101)

   China, BY. The Chinese Taipei Amateur Radio League (CTARL) announces
   its 7th DXpedition to Pratas Island. The call issued will be BQ9P. Ope-
   ration will commence on or about 0900 UTC on June 4, 2002 and will end
   at approximately 2300 UTC on June 12, 2002. Operators include BV4FH
   Paul (Team Leader), BV5CR Wong, BV3FG Robert, K4WA Steven, K5YY Sanford
   W5FI Gary and W0IZ Igor. The team plans to operate 5 stations on all
   bands, 6 meters to 160 meters. There will be no on-line logs for this
   operation. A pilot station and operating frequencies will be announced
   shortly. Transportation costs and other DXpedition expenses are estima-
   ted at US$ 8,000. Donations will be graciously accepted with your QSL
   card, or in advance of the operation via KU9C. Questions, comments,

   St. Croix, WP2. Steve, KU9C, will be on St. Croix from June 2-8. During
   this stay, which is primarily a vacation and a 'break' before the PW0T
   cards hit, he will be running WP2Z. His plans are to operate the digi-
   tal modes, 6 meters and the WARC bands as time permits. (QSP de The

   Lithuania, LY & Poland SP. DL3BQA, Uwe writes; DX-Expedition to KO23/
   KO13 LY2AAM and SO4UG. We are happy to announce that all preperations
   to our current expeditions are going well. We will leave Germany in di-
   rection KO23 on the 3rd of June and hope to get everything ready to the
   NAC-Contest on the 4th. Please look for us on QRG: 144.283 Planed acti-
   vities are in MSCW 144.183 + WSJT 144.383(19-22z/4-9z), Tropo and Es
   (hopefully) on 2mtrs (144.283) + 6mtrs (50.183) and 70cm from a good
   Tropo-QTH in KO23DX. We will look for 2m-EME during the US-windows on
   144043mc (more info on request at mailto: DL1EJA@DARC.DE). On 8th or
   9th of June we will move to KO13 and give all the people a 2nd chance
   who missed DH7FB and DL9AN's succsessfull operation. We will be QRV on
   6+2 and again during the NAC-Contest on 70cm.All MS and WSJT activity
   is on Random only, we might be take some skeds on vhf-net 14.345mc du-
   ring the afternoon-hours. It's not sure if we're able to run 2 stations
   for 2mtrs at one time. So if you think we could miss ES during the time
   we work MS or WSJT don't hesitate to give us a shout on 50.183. On the
   12th we will go QRT and leave to Germany. Good luck to everybody and
   see you from LY/SP. Sri for KO06, but that would have been 700 kmtrs
   more to drive. We hope to do it in 2003 in connection with one other
   rare LY-square, so stay tuned. We have to say thanks to everybody who
   helped us in the preparations, especially the friends in LY for there
