                             General information.
   
   Denmark, OZ. OZ6OM - OZ50MHz DX Bulletin editor, QRV in Nordic Activity
   Contest 50 MHz section Tuesday October 23 th. 17:00 - 21:00 UT. I will
   be QRV round 50.173 MHz ñ QRM, from JO55CE which is on the South/West
   side of the Island of Fyn. Here I'm situated at one of our highest
   points at 128 Asl. with a formidable takeoff 360 deg. round the clock.
   The rig used is an Icom IC-706 with 100 watt wich gives my 2 * 5
   Element Yagi's more than 1 Kw. erp. This should be sufficient to
   reach stations within a range of, at least 500 Km even on flat ConDX.
   If You want to file a log showing Your efforts in the NAC there is an
   open class section. Point 1 point/km, bonus 500 point each WWL.

   Greenland, OX. At the EDR VHF commetee meeting this afternon I spoke
   with one of the XP1AB guys (OZ1FTU), he told that they will only be QRV
   at 50 MHz from the 26 th. to the 29 th. or in best case untill the 30
   th. as the guy bringing the 50 MHz equipment is joining in the 26 th.
   This station will not be manned at all times, but will in absence RX
   at 50.110 ! The rest of the group will maily put their effort into
   establishing the station for the CQWW contest. 73 Matt OZ6OM
   
   Papua New Guinea, P2. Yoshi, JG7AMD will be active as P29JA from Papua
   New Guinea (on 80-6 metres, WARC bands included) on 24-29 October, in-
   cluding an entry in the CQ WW DX SSB Contest. QSL via JG7AMD either
   direct (Yoshi-hiro Shoji, 168-5 Yokaichi, Odaki, Esashi, 023-1131

   Antigua, V2. Team Antigua will participate in the CQ WW DX SSB Contest
   as V26B (Multi-Multi). A large group of operators will be active (espe-
   cially on RTTY, PSK31, 160 metres, the WARC bands and possibly 6 met-
   res) with individual calls starting around 22 October until around 4

   Eritrea, E3. (Update) Wolfgang DJ3TF, writes; Another DXpedition of the
   Bavarian Contest Club (BCC) http://www.Bavarian-Contest-Club.de with
   DL5NAM, OE2VEL, DJ7EO and DK7YY starts now. Main-activity is planned
   for the CQWWDX, but they will be on Six again. There is no operator
   especially for Six, but they will call CQ from time to time. The SIX-
   communtiy is asked to look for the HF-cluster-spots to find them on
   shortwave and to inform the crew about possible band-openings. There
   will be no activity before Oct 18! Expected start on Saturday or Sun-
   day, Oct 20/21. PSE QRX for online logs - all data will be transfered
   to the Webserver as quick as possible. More details available on the

   Anguilla, VP2E. K5AB is taking 6M gear with him to the VP2E, Anguilla,
   multi-multi contest station and hopes to get on this band before and
   after CQWW SSB. Look for him on 50.102 USB with a CW beacon on 50.1027
   The station will not always be manned, as the ops put up antennas in
   preparation for the CQWW contest. Inclusive dates are October 21-29.

   East Timor, 4W. Carlos, CU3FT, has arrived in East-Timor and is expec-
   ted to sign 4W/CU3FT. His activity is due to start as soon as possible
   No QSOs have been reported as of writing this. Look for him to be ac-
   tive on all bands especially the WARC bands and 6 meters. QSL via

   Fernando de Noronha, PY0F. Peter, PY5CC will be active on 6 as PY0FM
   on October 22 - 29 except for CQWW test. QSL via JA1VOK only. GL,

   Bonaire, PJ4. Hi Sixmeter friends, Peter, PA3CNX will go to Bonaire
   (PJ4) from November 5th till November 30th. He will be active on 50.110

   a 50 MHz meeting in Odense (JO55EI) Denmark. Arranged by the OZ50MHz DX
   Bulletin & OZ6OM, in conjunction with the next days "Amatoer Traef Fyn"
   (Denmarks largest rally) November the 4 th. The Six metre meeting pro-
   gramme will be:
   10:45   Meeting opens.
   11:00   OZ50MHz Group - Annual General Meeting (members only).
   13:00   Lunch break (in order to arrange lunch, You must notify if You
           want to participate to oz6om@qsl.net latest a week before).
   14:00   OX2K talk and a few words about the resent XP1AB operation, by
           OZ0J Joergen & OZ1FTU Soeren. (Held in Danish language, but
           answers questions in both English and German. A/V materials is
           primarely in English).
   16:00   QRP talk by M1DUD/M5AEF Robin. (Held in English language).
   17:00   Plenum discussion, share Your experiences from "The Magic Band"
   18:00   Dinner break (in order to arrange dinner You must notify if You
           want to participate to oz6om@qsl.net latest a week before).
   19:30   ConDX on 50 MHz and what to expect, by OZ6OM Bjoern "Matt".
           (Held in Danish language, but answers questions in both English
           and German, most A/V materials is in English).
   21:00   Expected end of the meeting.
   Prices at lunch and dinner is not yet know but intention is low price.
   We are able to offer free accommodation (Saturday to Sunday), in shared
   quarters at the meeting site (bring sleeping-bag/blankets a.o.) or make
   use at our 20 % discount at the nearby Hotel Scandic. Expect more info

   Ducie Island., VP6. VP6TC, VP6DB, VP6BK/JA1BK, JF1IST, JA1SLS, K9AJ,
   K5VT and FO3BM will be active with a VP6 callsign to be announced when
   the operation starts, i.e. at 00.00 UTC on 16 November. Activity is
   planned to take place on (160-6 metres) and on RTTY as well. Bill Avery
   K6GNX will be the pilot station, while the QSL manager (direct and
   bureau) will be Garth Hamilton, VE3HO. Logs will be available at

   Micronesia, V6. Look for JE1LES to operate (on 20-6 metres CW, SSB,
   RTTY, PSK31 and SSTV) as V63HJ between 22 and 28 October. QSL via home

   Peru, OA. de OA/N6XQ. I am returning to Peru 15 Oct thru 8 Nov. The
   first 3 days I will operate from Lima and will then head south into
   OA5, and OA6. I will use the call OA?/N6XQ unless another OA is with
   me and then we will use his call. Gear is an IC706 and a 3 el yagi. I
   normally hangout on 110 and when the band is open, drop to 102. I am
   aware of the 18Z and 23Z window to EU and will be looking for you.
   There is a chance we may get into CP1 on the tail end of the trip. I

   Cayman Isl., ZF. I'll be heading to ZF next week on Thursday, October
   18 - staying on the island until Sunday, October 28. Will be QRV as
   ZF2MU during that period with capabilities on 40 thru 6 (with primary
   emphasis on 6!). Hope that the prop excitement of the past few days

   University (Vatican City State) will be active on november 6 2001
   during the Academic Open Year Journey (Dies Accademicus). Operations
   in HF, 6 e 2 meters. Other operations are scheduled for 20 October
   during the station mounting and after the 6 November withe calendar to

   Tuvalu, T2. "Team Tuvalu" consisting of Ono/JH7OHF/AH6G (a member of
   K5K), Ted JJ1LIB/N1GO (a member of 5T5U/S07U), Hiko/JN1HOW/AH6PW (a
   member of 5T5U/S07U) and Mano/JQ1KNH/W6KNH are pleased to announce the
   following "big DXpedition for the world DX lovers". "Team Tuvalu" ex-
   pects to make huge amount of contacts from T2-land, especially on 160
   m for Europe and the East Coast of USA, and on 6m for Europe by long-
   pass opening. Operations will take place between November 1-8th,
   using the callsigns T20T or T22T (on HF) and T20SIX (on 6m). Activity
   will be on 160-6 meters SSB/CW/RTTY. They plan to have three stations
   on 24 hours a day. Equipment: IC-756PRO+AMP, two TS-570G+AMP, FT-920+
