                             General information.
   
   Jersey Isl., GJ. Chris, G0WFH will be active as GH4BJC/p from Jersey
   Island on 17-31 October. He will operate on 160-10 metres SSB with 400
   watts and four vertical antennas and will be using 100 watts and a 3-

   Burundi, 9U. Gus, SM5DIC, Write: Hi, I will go back to Burundi the 16
   of November. The ARCT buro promise me to have my 9U5D license renewed.
   This time I will bring a 50 MHz 3 el Beam with me and also 17 el for
   144 MHz (EME). Rig will be same as last time, IC-706 MK1 and a PA for
   144 MHz of 400W. It will take me some weeks to set up QTH including
   renewal of the license. 73 de SM5DIC/9U5D Ragge "Gus" (former 5X1D,

   Namibia, V51. V51/K5YY worked W3LPL for his first stateside QSO from
   Namibia. That was on 10 meters. San will be there until October 13th.
   He will be on 160/80/40 CW most mornings from 03-04Z and will also try

   Tuvalu, T2. JJ1LIB, JQ1KNH, JH7OHF, and JN1HOW will operate from Tuvalu
   from Nov. 1 to Nov. 8, 2001. The plan to be active on 160 through 6
   meters. They will have a beacon on 50.105. It is unclear what callsigns
   will be at this time. QSL all to JH7OHF. (QSP de SMIRK)
   
   Anguilla, VP2E. During the CQ World Wide SSB Contest look for a multi-
   multi from VP2E on the island of Anguilla. Team members will include
   Ray, KC5EA/VP2E, Sheila (XYL), N5HGB, Gordon, N5AU, Brent, W5WW, Steve,
   K5MR, Alan, K5AB, Bob, K4UEE, Ron, N5QQ, Ron, N0AT, Carsten, DL6LAU,
   and Mac, JA3USA. Look for activity from VP2E, VP2EC, VP2EH, VP2ER and
   VP2EW on 10-160 meters, possibly 6 meters, between October 8 to Novem-

   Fiji, 3D2. Michael, DL1MHM will operate (on 20-6 metres SSB, CW, RTTY
   PSK31 and Pactor 1&2) as 3D2MH from Fiji between 27 September and 3
   November. He expects to be active from the Viti Levu, Vanua Levu,
   Mamanuca and Yasawa groups. QSL to DL1MHM through the DARC bureau.

   Marquesas Isl., FO. SP9FIH and SQ9LR plan to operate (on 80-6 metres
   SSB and RTTY) as FO/SP9FIH from Nuku Hiva, Marquesas Islands for two

   Eritrea, E3. Update. Chris DL5NAM, writes; We go again to Eritrea as
   E30NA. We was last year active as E30TA. We will work active also on
   6m. We get a new antenna and amplifier only for 6m operation from our
   sponsor. We start from DL 17.oct, trip back is 3. nov. QTH is still

   Pacific tour. Midway, Fiji, Lord Howe Islands The "International Radio
   DX Group" is going to Midway Island November 24 to December 1. Op
   VK2IR, Tommy, will be on 80-6 with the callsign KH5/VK2IR and KH4/VK2IR
   Also planned, 3D2/VK2IR, Fiji, January 18-26 and late 2002, VK9, Lord
   Howe Island. Donations welcome, "as these trips are expensive and every

   French St. Martin, FS. FS/W2AZK, FS/KF2HC W2AZK, Ann and KF2HC, Brian
   of the North Jersey DX Association will be active from the French side
   of Saint Martin November 26 to December 2. They will be on phone and
   CW, 40 through 10, using FS/home call. If they can, they will also get
   on 80 and 160. They plan to take an IC-706, wire antennas and possibly
   a Force-12 Sigma vertical dipole. Yagis, including 6M, are a possibi-
