Monaco, 3A. Look for Patrice, 3A/F5RBB to be active (on 40, 20, 15, 10
and 6 metres SSB) from Monaco between 25 August and 3 September. QSL

Bhutan, A5 (Update) Tony, IK7WUL (A52UL) plans to operate also on 6
metres when in Bhutan]. He will be QRV for Europe between 8 and 10 UT

Tromelin Isl., FR/T. Jack, FR5ZU will be back to Tromelin Isl. from 6
September until 5 October and plans to be active on all bands SSB with
100 watts and a vertical. QSL direct or via his current QSL manager,

Greenland, OX. According to the branch column in OZ Magazine, the club-
station in Godthaab (nuuk) OX3NUK is very active - also at six meters.
One of the most active operators here is the club chairman OX/LA5KW
Einar. Lately Canada and U.S. have been worked on aurora. More info

Maritime Mobile. New trip from Theo PA3HEN/MM starts next week info as

This time North europe to South europe so OH-SM to EA-CT-I and maybe

Greenland, OX. The callsign XP1AB will once again be heard. XP1AB will
be used from Sondrestrom on the west coast of Greenland during the CQWW
SSB Contest on October 27-28th. XP1AB was last used in the 1960's and it
will now be possible to work this special callsign again. Sondrestrom is
in CQ zone 40, ITU Zone 5. A large group of OZ hams expect to arrive on
October 24th. They will use the first days to put all the equipment to-
gether. If we have the time they will work on all HF bands and 6 meters
with their own calls/OX. They may be active on CW before and/or after
the contest. They expect to leave on October 31st. QSL Manager is
OZ1ACB, and QSL is only possible direct to OZ1ACB. You can find many

Mozambique, C9. Fredy, DE0MST, reports that Reinhard (Rei), DL6DQW, will
be active as C91RF/7 (call not 100% sure), September 19-23rd, from Qui-
rimba Isl. His equipment will be an IC706 and a quad antenna. Activity

Turkey, TA. Anyone operate from Turkey (TA) on 6 before? I may be there

Dominica, J7. J75A Five members of the FDXPG, Bill W4WX (J75WX),William
N2WB (J79WB), Bob KR4DA (J79DA), Larry W1LR (J79LR), and Clarence W9AAZ
(J79AA), will be active from Dominica from October 23-30. They will do
a multi-single entry in the CQ WW SSB DX Contest. They have been assig-
ned J75J for the contest. Look for them on all bands, including 6 me-
ters, on CW, SSB, PSK-31, and RTTY before and after the contest. All
J75J QSL cards should go to QSL manager KR4DA. QSL J79WB to his QSL
Manager N2OO direct and all others to there home calls. The team has a

Turky, TA. Look for Simon (TA0/IZ7ATN), Alessio (TA0/IZ0CKJ), Massimo
(TA0/IZ0EGB), Paolo (TA0/IW0FT) and Diego (TA0/IW0FTB) to operate be-
tween 18 and 24 August. They plan to operate on 80-6 metres (WARC

Johnston Isl, KH3. A QSP fro PY2ZX Al, says; Dan KH6UW will lead a group
of four operators including Mike AL7KC, Bill W7TSQ and Tom K7ZZ on a
trip to Johnston Island from 11 - 18 Sept 01. The group will be active
on 160 - 6 meters including the WARC bands using CW and SSB, using the
callsign K3J. Two 24-hour stations will be used, with a third activated
as needed. European contacts will be emphasized when band openings per-

Micronesia, V6. V63KA, V63MC V63YB Toshi, JA1ELY, gives us DX news from
Japan. Katsu, JH8BKL/V63KA, and his XYL Michiko, JF8IYR/V63MC, and Su-
sumu, JH8MYB/V63YB, are going to Pohnpei Island, Micronesia from August
31 to September 6. They expect to operate on all bands from 6 to 80
meters on SSB, CW and 10 meter FM. V63KA hopes to participate in the
All Asia SSB Contest. QSL V63KA and V63MC via JH8BKL, Katsuhide Kawase

Paraguay, ZP. Mike ZP5YW, writes; Hello there, Just to let you know for
your FB bulletin that ZP5AA beacon is back on the air on 50.024 with CW
message "ZP5AA FROM GG14 GG14", after several months of being hit du-
ring a thunderstorm and QRT waiting for parts. Location is a hill with

Chad, TT. Chris, TT8DX, is now back in France for holidays. He'll re-
turn to Moudoun in southern Chad on August 28 and he will be active for
one more year from Grid square JJ88aa. On 6 meters he will use a trans-
ceiver with a 2-element HB9CV and 400 watts output. QSL via F5OGL either

Geneva I.T.U., 4U. I will be QRV from the IARC club station 4U1ITU at
odd times during some evenings in the period 28-30 August and all day
