                             General information.
   
   Editorial. Due to my participation in the EDR and Nordic/Baltic VHF
   Field Day (I think I have an obligation as manager), this bulletin is
   out early. Further there will be no update of the Stop Press page at
   www.qsl.net/oz6om/ before monday the 9 th.
   
   Morocco, CN. Johan ON4ANT, writes; Message from CN8LI. He still recei-
   ves some QSl at his direct adress, an fears that a lot of QSL's still
   go missing in the postal system. He asks that QSL's be sent to his
   manager ON4ANT. He is currently putting in his log in the PC and will
   mail me the log. I have the logs starting June 2000 till April 2001
   already in. Said is now completing with the log from 1999 as well.
   Current status is that as direct QSL's have been answered for the
   period June 2000 till April 2001 All other QSL from 06/2000 till 12/
   2000 have been send via buro (at Friedrichshaven June 2001) Best

   Fieldday, from July 3rd. 14:00 UT to July 4th. 14:00 UT, using the
   call OZ5VF/P from JO45XG near Ebberup at the Island of Fyn. Our spot
   QRG's will be round (+/-QRM) 50.173 MHz, 144.173 MHz or 144.273 MHz
   and 432.173 MHz. The team will among others consist of OZ4CQ, OZ6CQ

   teurs of Venezuela (ARV) are organizing DXpedition Cayo Sombrero in
   the Falcon State group. Look for YW1F to be active (SSB and CW) on HF

   year i want to go for the summery vacations in to my home in Sardinia
   Isl. (S. Teresa of Gallura - jn41of) between 3 to 31 august. Like
   always i want to be active on Six with my IC706 MKII and two different
   antenna system, a vertical 5/8 wave and a two elements HB9CV. During
   this period of vacation, i want to be active also from JN51AX (rare
   grid square) in /MM condition, when we go to tuna fishing for some
   days. I hope that my availability can be of aid of many stations that
   still they have not worked IS0 on six or those rare locator. Best 73's

   USA, K. Special event. Gary K8BN, writes; October 20-21, 2001 0000Z
   Friday through Sunday night local, 0200 Z,(i.e. 50 hours). The members
   of the Central Arizona DX Association will conduct a special event ope-
   ration honoring the late Senator Barry M. Goldwater on October 20 and
   21st, 2001. The call-sign used will be the famous K7UGA. Operation will
   be on both SSB and CW, 160 through Six meters. Special commemorative
   QSL cards will be available for stations that send direct requests.
   QSL via the club station trustee, KC7V, at 6545 E Montgomery Rd. Cave
   Creek AZ 85331, for commemorative QSL’s, or via the W7-Bureau.
   Bureau reply QSL cards may not be the same. Any and all proceeds from
   this event will go to the CADXA Scholarship fund, administered by the

   from Bornholm (JO75IC) Island between 5th July (late afternoon) and
   9th July (morning QRT) ussing callsign OZ/OK5DX/P on 50, 144, 432,
   1296MHz and 10Ghz with some activity on HF as well. On 144 MHz we will
   be also QRV for HSCW MS (Random 144.100, sked 144.115). For MS skeds
   we will be on 14.345 every morning 07:00Z and afternoon 18:00Z (out of
   contest of course). Main focus is participation in VHF/SHF/SHF IARU
