Subject: FIRST TI DX MS QSO'S
Hello Friends,
I am happy to announce what I believe are the first DX QSO's from Costa
Rica on Meteor Scatter.
On the morning of May 24th, 2001 between HC8N and TI5KD/2 (EJ79) on 6M
using 5 ele yagi and 100W on SSB.
On the morning of June 10th, 2001 between W4WHN (EL94) and TI5KD/2
(EK80) on 2M using 2M5WL 17 ele yagi and 100W on SSB.
I will continue to pursue Meteor Scatter and other exotic VHF modes from
Costa Rica as well as promote this type of activity in Central America.
Carlos (Keko) Diez
TI5KD
