Hi all SIX'ers
Please take note that until further notice, the 52.750 MHz repeater
in Pretoria South Africa, is QRT until further notice. The reason
for switching it off, is that when it TX's, it triggers our 2m
repeater on 145.150/145.750..... Our 2m repeater is a Kenwood TK-720.
There seems to be a mixing of freqs, and this possibly result in the
QRM. We share a site with our national broadcaster, which TX's on
88.00 - 108 MHz, as well as VHF and UHF television, On the same site,
there are a lot of other commercial repeaters as well.
Our technical guys is trying to find some solution to solve the
problem.
