Mariana Isl., KH0. Look for W1VX/KH0 (QSL via JF1OCQ), KZ5C/KH0 (QSL
via JA0QBY) and KH0/JR1IBD (QSL via JR1IBD) to operate from Saipan on
8-11 December. They will be active on 10-40 metres CW and SSB and

St. Martin, FS. Mike, WA2VUN, Jay, WB2BHC, Gene, K2KJI, Maryann, K2RVH,

UT until Dec 12. Operation will take place with two stations in SSB/CW
on all HF bands and a separate station for 10m/6m operation. During the

Well, I think Chris is right. But I guess we all like a good chat -
even if the band is closed. But it does not need to be at this fine
announcement page. KB3CWS have made an formidable chat page delicated
to 50 MHz. Personally I have had many a good chat about 6 meters in
there. So I recommand to try out this URL;

From the SM7AED internet "6-metre info" comes following information;
Maldives, 8Q7TX. Kurt, DF4XX, and Holger, DL5XAT, are activating 8Q7TX
from Thulagiri until Dec 5. QSL via bureau to DL5XAT.
India, VU. We are operating on CW and SSB modes in India. I was infor-
med by the secretary and President of Amateur Radio Society of India,
that permission is granted for cw and ssb. The written document is
awaited since last one month. In the meanwhile we are lobbying for a
continuous segment from 50.000 to 50.200 at least. I hope that we will
be permitted secondary status. I am informed that this band is allotted
to Land mobile use (army). I don't hear any VU activity on the band
from land mobile users. I hope that ultimately that we can get a
segment back on a permanent basic. I think that we need some pressure
