Editorial. As my XYL (OZDR2446) is expected to give birth any day now
I expect some fluctuations around the bulletin, it will be issued, but
with up to a couple of days divergence from the normal Saturday evening
Especially the Stop Press page at www.qsl.net/oz6om/ will be affected.
Here a link to an alternative dayly "50 MHz news" by SM7AED will be up.

Guadeloupe, FG. Jon N0JK, writes; Plan to be QRV on 6M as FG/N0JK Nov.
25 1100 UT through Nov. 28 1700 UT. Station: Icom 706 MII @ 100 watts,
5 el M2 Yagi up 75 feet. I will enter the CQ WW CW Contest Nov. 25-26,
but if 6M is open will be QRV there. Frequencies 50.105 and 50.145 MHz

rise above 180 after November 24. Solar flux is expected to peak
around 200 on November 28." - K7VVV. Let us hope the higher flux will
help 6M propagation while I am in FG.
Morocco, CN. The Bavarian Contest Club will be operating again as
CN8WW from Morocco for the CQWW DX CW Contest (25-26 November). Before
and after the contest they will be active as 5C8M on CW, SSB, RTTY, 6
metres and on the WARC bands. QSL for both via DL6FBL either direct
(Bernd Och, Christian-Wirth-Str. 18, D-36043 Fulda, Germany) or through
the DARC bureau. A special QSL card will be sent to those who work

Sao Tome & Principe, S9. S92DX - DXpedition to Sao Tome & Principe 24
Nov - 4 Dec: We will be departing for S92 on 22 Nov with arrival on
Principe Island on 24 Nov under the callsign S92DX. I will be opera-
ting a 5 element beam on 50 MHz and an Icom 756PRO. Will be using a GAP
vertical and an IC706MKII for 28.885 MHz coordination. Tear down will
be the night of 4 Dec. I will run a beacon on 50.092 MHz. QSL via

view Gardens, Keningau, Sabah, during the CQWW CW Contest as a Single

the 9M2TO/B has been improved (QRO). The frequency: 50.005 MHz. Power
is: 50 watts (as of November 1st at 0000z). The antenna is a GP. All
equipment donated by: TX - TS660 by JA1PCM, key - AEA MM3 by JA1PCM,
amp. - HL66V Tokyo HiPower 50w by 9M2/JI1ETU, Ant. - 5/8 GP by 9M2TO,
Power supply by 9M2KT and cooling system by 9M2KT. It was the MARTS
Penang group who made the decision for improvements to the system.

final bulletin for this 6 and 2 meter vhf dxpedition to Montserrat.
When: Nov. 2-19; QRV on 6 on Nov. 3; Qrv on 2 EME on Nov. 6. Where:
Windsong Villa, Olveston, Montserrat Calls: VP2MJD, Dick (K5AND),
VP2MJJ, Jimmy (W6JKV), VP2MJS, Mike (K6MYC) and VP2MIS, Myrna ((K6MYM)
Equipment: 50 mhz: FT-847, FT-650, 8877 amp, 8el ant on 40' boom 144
mhz: FT-100, 8877 amp, two LONG cross-polarized yagis We will be on
the Internet on Mon., Nov. 6 and will have e-mail. We will be able to
post digital pictures, and will be monitoring W6YX reflector, OZ6OM,
Six Italia and the 50 mhz Prop Logger and Moon Net. We will also mo-
nitor 28885 and 14345. (100 watts & ground planes). Once we get on the
air and have had a chance to check for local QRN etc., we will announce
beacon info, splits, and ask for EME skeds. Whenever band is just ope-
ning on 6, and when condx are marginal, we will of course be on CW, so

Poland, SP. A QSP from Paul ON9BGP, says; Special event station from
Poland. Please look for SP2000S (sugar-papa-two-zero-zero-zero-sugar)
to be active from November 10 to December 31. This operation will be
held to celebrate 82nd anniversary of regaining independencce by
Poland. It is also the next millenium station. We do hope our activity
will be interesting especially for prefix hunters. Look for us on all
bands (160 - 6 meters) on CW, SSB, FM, RTTY, PSK31, MFSK and SSTV. QSL

Jamaica, 6Y. Hello all: I just received my call for the upcoming expe-
dition to Jamaica. Call is 6Y4B. I will be arriving in Montego Bay on
the 13th and hope to be QRV on 6 no later than the 14th and stay untill
the 21st. I will shoot for 2 mtrs by moonrise on the 15th. VE7BQH
(VE7BQH@wimsey.com) is handling 2 mtr eme skeds. I will monitor 28.885
