Wrongfull information. I seam to have relied a bit to much at external
souses (The Daily DX #151) and have not had information verified, my
aplogi to the readeres whom I have mislead and Jack VK2GJH, who wrote;
Re: T30JH 14-26th Sep, the QSL manager is NOT VK6GJH but VK2GJH (home
call), please correct this serious error. Extract published on your
site ex "Daily DX" re T30JH also incorrect, there is NOT a visit at all
planned for T2 (Tuvalu) Nov/Dec 2000, utter rubbish. It's often best to
check with the person doing the operation to see if ALL FACTS are true
and correct before publishing, especially if using information passed
on from another source... Best Wishes, Jack VK2GJH
Morocco, CN8. The Bavarian Contest Club will be operating again as
CN8WW from here in the upcoming CQ WW Contests. They will be a Multi/
Multi team, so there is a very good chance to work CN on all bands from
160-10m, for which they kindly ask you to work them again even if you
worked them in the past (Even if you have received your QSL card).
There will be a new picture QSL card for the upcoming activities. Work
them on 5 or 6 bands and receive a special QSL card to honor your high
performance. Before and after the contest they will operate as 5C8M in
CW, SSB, RTTY, on 6m and also on the WARC bands. More detailed infor-
mation about their DXpedition can be found on their homepage at:
http://www.dl6fbl.de/cn8ww/ QSL cards for CN8WW and 5C8M go via DL6FBL

be given to 50 MHz as Jack is taking an IC-736 exclusive for six meters

will be used on 6 meters. He will be on the usual DX frequencies and
50.110 MHz SSB. Due to connecting flights from VK to T3 there will be

Israel, 4Z5AY beacon. Some experiment with a 3w cw transmitter is being
conducted for the last days near the TEL AVIV area (KM72JB). The trans-
mitter is on 50.080 (give or take 400 Hz) and uses a vertical antenna
at 20 meters height. We plan to increase power later, and finally have
a 4X-beacon. It is not approved yet though, and I guess it's a matter
of short time before we make it official. I would appreciate announcing
this test so that we might have some reports from stations hearing it.
73 & greetings, Isaac, 4Z4TL. E-mail: ernie@netvision.net.il The beacon
already being heard in SE Africa. (ZS6PJS and FR5DN)
