Band One DXTV Logo's by the various European Stations:
ID'ing in one way is now easy due to the on screen logo's. However, alot
of East European Stations seem to change them every year, so it does get
confusing at times.
Anyway here goes from my own observations:
Spain: TVE1, Television Espana Network One. TVE1 bottom right. The 1 is in
Cyan when you get colour. Channels E2, E3 and E4.
Portugal: RTP1, Radio Television Portugal Network One. RTP Top left.
Channel E3.
France: Canal Plus. Private Network. Channels L2, L3 and L4. Often
scrambled.....line tearing and jagged. No on screen logos. Video
Modulation is opposite to every one else.......Postive.
Germany: ARD1. National Network One. 1 logo top left. Channels E2, E3 and
E4. Mainly E2 though.
Switzerland: SF1 or SF2 top right or left. Usually top right. National TV
Networks One and Two. The SF is in white. Channels E2, E3 and E4.
Austria. ORF1. National Network One. Channels E2a and E4. Logo ORF1 top
right.
ITALY: RAI UNO. National Network One. RAI UNO logo top left, top right,
bottom left, bottom right. They pop it anywhere !!!! Seems to depend on
the program. Channels IA and IB.
ITALY: TVA. Private TV Station. Logo TVA bottom right. Just above Channel
IA and below E3. Split channel this one.
Czech Rep: TV NOVA. Private Station. Seems to have purchased the Band One
transmitters off the State. TV NOVA in colour top left. Channels R1 and
R2.
Slovakia: STV1. State TV Network One. Not seen it this year. Last year the
logo was S

top left of screen. Only on Channel R2.
Russia: Changed this year. Now has a 1 with OTP or something through it.
Also has PTP, (this used to be PTR last year). The news is BECTN. On
channels R1 R2 and R3.
Ukraine: Seems to have 2 logo's. I have seen a 1 in the top right corner.
Also 1+1 top left. On channels R1, R2 and R3.
Latvia: TV1 and TV2. State TV Networks One and Two. Rectangle, usually top
right. Has TV1 or TV2 in it. Channels R1, R2 and R3.
Lithuania: LRT1. State TV Network One. LRT top left. Only on channel R2.
Estonia: Logo is like a squiggle line top right. Has also used a half moon
shape with lines thru it, again top right. Only on channel R2.
Romania: TVR1. State TV Network One. New logo this year. Its a 1 with some
arcs to the left of the one with some writing underneath. Only ID'd it
after a sub titled program was on. The sub titles were in Romanian !!!!
Mainly on R3, also R2 though.
Albania: TVSH. Logo in white, top right. Only on channel C, (vision
82.25MHz. sound 87.75MHz.).
Slovenia: SLO1. State TV Network One. 1 symbol in a square, top right.
Only on channel E3.
Croatia: HRT1. State TV Network One. Has a 1 top left. Sometimes HRT top
right, especially when the news is on. Only on Channel E4.
Hungary: m-1, used to be MTV, (Magyar TV). State TV. Only on channel R1.
They have sold off channel R2. No on screen logo's.
Hungary: RTL. Purchased Channel R2. logo RTL top left.
Moldova: TVM1. State TV. Logo top left - TVM. Channel R2.
Norway: NRK1. State TV. Logo - NRK top right. Channels E2, E3 and E4.
Sweden: SVT1. State TV Network One. Uses a 1 logo top right. Channels E2,
E3 and E4.
Finland: YLE1. State TV. No logo's. Channels E3 and E4.
Denmark: DR1. Danmarks Radio, State TV Network One. DR top right. Channels
E3 and E4.
Iceland: RUV1. State TV Network One. No on screen logo's. Clocks on GMT.
Channels E3 and E4, mainly E4 though.
One logo I see alot is a sort of oval shape, top left. Perhaps another
Russian ?? I see it on R1, R2 and R3.
Any additions or corrections welcome.
