I am not sure what version you are talking about here, but I still have an old
version 5 learning edition here, And that has got "online help" and included a
cd version of Mirosoft Press "Learn Visual Basic Now" and a "self paced CD-ROM
tutorial" which I cannot remember the name of at the moment.

Also I created quite a few EXE's with it, some of which I still have, which
were written back in 1999. I know this because a few weeks ago I had a need
for one of them (mostly out of nostalgia more than anything else, as I have
just upgraded to Visual studio 6 pro) and spent ages going through dozens of
old cd-r's trying to find it.

But then I suppose that this is the difference between a paid for version and
a freebee version out of the back of a book.

None of this is meant to be inflamatory in any way it's just that my
experience of this is different to what has been said.

./me stands back so as not to get burnt by the flames ;)

All the best

Paul
