You can access DB0FHN by packet radio or the internet. __**Rules**__\\ You have to be a licensed hamradio operator to use __radio__ services of DB0FHN. Maybe DB0FHN will grant access to more services than allowed. It is **your** job to care about the rules for hamradio depending on your current location (country). __**Passwords**__\\ DB0FHN needs to authenticate amateur radio operators to avoid abuse of the radio services DB0FHN offers. To reduce administration work you have to set your passwords yourself by packet radio. If you don't have any packet radio access you can try "Packet Radio Access by Internet Echolinkauthentication". There are currently 3 different passwords available. * [[radio:db0fhn:passwd|Setting the Linuxpassword]] * [[radio:db0fhn:mailboxpw|Setting the Mailboxpassword]] * [[radio:db0fhn:converspw|Setting the Converspassword]] __**AX.25**__\\ The Packet Radio Network uses the AX.25 protocol to exchange data. DB0FHN offers different ways to join. * [[radio:db0fhn:telnet|Packet Radio Access by Internet Telnet]] * [[radio:db0fhn:trusted|Packet Radio Access by Internet trusted Networks and AMPRNet]] * [[radio:db0fhn:echolink|Packet Radio Access by Internet Echolinkauthentication]] * [[radio:db0fhn:openvpn|Packet Radio Access by Internet VPN (OpenVPN)]] * [[radio:db0fhn:pptp|Packet Radio Access by Internet VPN (PPTP)]] __**Mailbox**__\\ The OpenBCM based Packet Radio Mailbox of DB0FHN can be accessed by Packet Radio or the HTTP-, SMTP- and POP3-protocol. * [[radio:db0fhn:openbcm|Mailbox]] __**Convers**__\\ The Convers server of DB0FHN can be accessed by Packet Radio or the IRC-protocol. * [[radio:db0fhn:convers|Convers]] __**TCP/IP over AX.25**__\\ The IPv4-pool 44.0.0.0/8 is assigned to the amateur radio community. You can read about it at http://www.ampr.org. TCP/IP can be encapsulated and transported by AX.25. All services of DB0FHN can be used over radio. * [[radio:db0fhn:tcpip|Basics with Windows and PC/Flexnet]] * [[radio:db0fhn:tcpip:routing|TCP/IP routing]] * [[http://www.de.ampr.org|Domain Name System in Germany]]
